Rock n Roll Marathon - Sunday June 1, 2008. An exciting marathon for rookies and veterans alike, San Diego's Rock n Roll Marathon attracts runners from around the country and around the world every year. San Diego's Zydeco Blues Festival May 10-11, 2008 is the 7th Annual Gator by the Bay. Spend Mother's Day on the bayou. Its all about music, dancing, fun, and food with more than 25 bands, 5 stages, and 8,000 lbs of crawfish. More info.

San Diego County Fair June 14-July 6, 2008. One of the largest county fairs in the country with exciting carnival rides and the usual games, a midway, decadent food vendors, exhibits of all kinds, and concerts from top-name performers nightly as well as up and coming local bands throughout the day.
